Presents Vision of a Revitalized Lynn
An open forum for and Q & A
with the candidates for City Councilor at-Large

Wednesday, July 1
starting at 7:00 PM
at the Congregation Ahabat Sholom
151 Ocean Street in Lynn

A vision statement defines one’s ultimate motivation, dreams, and image of a desired future. It concentrates on the future. It is a source of inspiration. It provides clear decision-making criteria.

Examples of vision statements:
“No child in our city will go hungry to bed in the evening.”
“In two decades our services will no longer be needed.”
“Our city will be one of the best places to live in America”

The recently formed East Lynn Community Association is working toward Lynn’s revitalization as the vibrant city citizens enjoyed during the historic shoe manufacturing era. Association members feel that Lynn is one of the best cities in America—a diamond in the rough–with unparalleled natural resources, which can again claim its place as a gem of the north shore. Members have been working on cleaning up parks and streets during May and June, working together with other organizations including Social Capital, Inc., the North Shore Teens, and Lynn Little League teams. All residents of the East Lynn area are considered to be members of the Association. We welcome all to participate in meetings and events–bring your ideas, energy, and friendship.
